Questions
How accurate is the score?
It’s a solid estimate of how your reasoning compares with other people’s. It isn’t a clinical assessment, and your result can move a few points depending on the day, how rested you are and whether you’ve seen similar puzzles before.
Do I need an account?
Not to start. Take the whole test first. When you finish we ask for your email so we can save your result, and we send a 6-digit code instead of a password.
What does the report cost?
The full report is a one-time payment for that test. You won’t be charged again. Plus is optional: one payment for a full year, and it never renews.
What is a good IQ score?
The average IQ is 100, and about half of people score between 90 and 109. A score of 120 is higher than about 91% of people, and 130 or above puts you in roughly the top 2%. See the IQ scale explained for every range.
Can I use my result to join Mensa?
No. Mensa only accepts supervised, approved tests. Our result is a useful estimate of whether a supervised test is worth trying. Mensa’s cutoff is the 98th percentile, about 130 on most modern scales.
Does Plus renew?
No. Plus is one payment for one year of access. When the year is up it simply ends, and you’re never charged again. Changed your mind? Ask within 14 days for a full refund.
