About ActivateIQ
ActivateIQ is a short, well-made reasoning test for people who are curious how their mind works. It takes about twenty minutes, works on any device, and tells you plainly what your result means.
The test mixes five kinds of reasoning: spotting patterns in shapes, working with number sequences, finding relationships between words, drawing conclusions from statements, and turning shapes in your head. Questions start easy and get harder, the way most classic IQ tests work.
We write every question ourselves and check each one has exactly one right answer. Scores are placed on the familiar IQ scale, where 100 is average and most people score between 85 and 115.
What the score is, and isn’t
Your result is a good estimate of how your reasoning compares with other people’s on this kind of problem. It isn’t a clinical assessment. Formal IQ tests are given one-to-one by a psychologist, take over an hour and are normed on large, carefully chosen samples.
Use your score for curiosity and self-reflection, not for decisions about school, work or health.
